“Charming cottage with beautiful lake views. It’s clean and stocked with things like coffee and spices, so you don’t need to buy a lot of extra things just for a short stay. Lots of wildlife and convenient for both short and extensive walks/hikes. ”

“We needed a last minute place to stay for one night and this place fit the bill. The place was clean. The amenities were sparse but we didn’t need to do any cooking. The only issue was that the apartment is right above a large industrial electrical outdoor trash dumpster and workers were disposing of trash at 3:00am. The machine was loud but the workers were also audible. It happened again at around 8:30am. Not sure if this is a daily activity as we were only there the one day. ”

Walking around the property accompanied by three happy dogs while hearing the goats bleating and the chickens crowing in the background only added to the quiet winter magic. “The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. ”
