“This property is very beautiful, the pool is really nice and the villas are excellent and the view will take your breath away. The walk to town is 25 minutes and the hill is tough to walk if you are not in good shape. The owner lives on site, he is a friendly man but there is no reception and check in information was sent to me the day I arrived and had no internet connection. “At first glance, the house is super cute. The patio and the views are stunning. I could (and did) sit on the patio for hours a day. It was clean when we checked in and the person who greeted us was great. It’s also very central to the little village (1 minute walk to restaurants and supermarket) and to Zuma tours for excursions. Downsides - the beach here is pretty littered. You can’t really tell from the gorgeous patio view, but when you leave the patio,it’s littered with driftwood and……

“This house is spectactular! We stayed here with our kids and another family in early April 2025. We enjoyed seeing more than 30 scarlet macaws each morning flying and roosting in the trees right beside the house, with the sunrise and mountains in the background. This is one of the only areas in Costa Rica where scarlet macaws can be found in the wild. We also saw a toucan and many iguanas on the property. The house is fantastic with all of the glass windows and lighted pool. The property……

“The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. Now let's get to what I thought was THE MOST fantastic view of the gulf! Your could sit there for hours in awe of this view. The pictures do not do capture this, you really need to be there to view it in all its glory. Don't think about it, just go for this property. “We (4 adults in out 60s) loved our stay at this charming place with a thrilling views over the jungle and beaches just below the house, straight across the gulf of Nicoya to the mainland, and miles of coastline to the north - a huge panorama from the charming wraparound covered deck. Total seclusion and privacy surrounded by nature and exalting views. Nice open layout of main part of the house. Only minor quibbles: A micro wave would be nice, pool a bit chilly, plumbing delicate, and bedrooms……
