“Aside from the fact that 2 separate keys are needed to enter the building and then enter the room (which we were not informed of by staff or given the other key) a man who was staying there gave us his key to get into the building since he was on the bottom level. The hotel was okay, pretty clean, not too noisy located RIGHT next to a Maverick gas station, the ice machine was not functional, and the breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, but the apple juice did not work. ”

“This is a functional hotel for a functional price (and there’s nothing wrong with that!). I was stuck in a snowstorm, not looking for a luxury vacation. The room was comfortable and I appreciated the microwave and fridge because i had food with me. The coffee was good but the rest of the breakfast was marginal. Like I said, it’s a functional place. The staff people were very nice. ”

“We had a great stay except for the loud rumbling we heard in the middle of the night. It almost sounded like a washing machine but must’ve been the generator. I’m a super light sleeper so it woke me up, but my boyfriend barely heard it. Bed was comfortable and clean room. ”

“Located in the heart of Fort Collins, we chose the Armstrong to stay for my sister's graduation. It's centrally located, which was very convenient for getting around. We got to our hotel a little early, they were able to accommodate a slightly early check-in. They upgraded us and even gave us free parking, all of which was unexpected and very generous as we were not expecting anything like that! The room itself was very comfortable and we slept so well. “This our second time staying at The Flats and this time don’t disappoint. It’s very close to CSU campus and in a safe area. You have to park on the street (or at Target up the street), but we have never had a problem finding a spot. Easy check-in and great communications with the hosts. We will always try and book one of these places whenever we’re in town.”
