“Overall we had a good experience staying in the Marmot cabin. Yes, it is small, and my wife and I had to sometimes dance around each other but it was fully expected from the description. It is a very cute cabin, perfect for solo trips or couples. It is a very short walk to the river and we could here the river from our cabin. Estes Park is just a short 3 minute drive and either of the RMNP entrances are 15 minutes away. I would say the only negative thing (although some people may love……

They also had a little store downstairs that you could purchase food items, etc. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.”

“Very clean and peaceful. I like that they don’t come in to clean the room unless requested. There is a train rail right behind the building but it is not that loud. ”

“I was super pleasantly surprised with this rustic gem on the river. The place was loved, cared for, and stocked good. I didnt get check in email but they responded right away when i messaged them on hotels.com and we checked in fine. Parking was plenty and it felt private and not snooty...there was rustic charm...my kind of place. It was just perfect to me. ”

“My family lived The Blue Door in for its convenient location to the RMNP entrances. The room was clean, bright, spacious with comfortable beds, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Parking right outside the door and 2 large windows, one of which looked out to the big grassy area (Mountain View) and adorable little chipmunks running from burrow to burrow. Quite entertaining!
