“The staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating. They offered me a shuttle from the airport. The food was good and rooms were clean. It’s an older building so do not expect top of the line amenities but for the price point, I cannot complain. I have no complaints. ”

“The guest house is nestled just below Mount St Benedict’s monastery halfway up said mountain. As such the views are spectacular and the breeze is welcome in the face of the heat waves you can face in Trinidad. It has a decidedly olde worlde tenor with antiques throughout the common areas as well as the bedrooms.The proprietors are charming hosts and the continental breakfast is particularly good. This was my second stay. The highlight is seeing the droves of hummingbirds on the balcony which……

“I was notified by the taxi driver that the area was unsafe. Upon entering the neighborhood we asked two patrol officers for directions and they stated that the area was “hot” and that I could be robbed and/or murdered just for walking in the streets. I took their advise and found another hotel in a safer area. I enjoyed my time in Trinidad and Tobago. ”
