“Very nice owners and the room was really great. It's an old lodge in the woods so don't expect a 5 star downtown NYC hotel, but the coffee, toiletries and bed sheets were all high quality. Like I said great nice owners too, and there's a 24/7 diner across the street. Would highly recommend!”

“The property looks a little run-down, but what do you expect from a lower-budget hotel that has been in operation since 1951? The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and the towels were oh so fluffy. The cafe is a great spot for dinner (I had the chicken fried steak), breakfast (eggs and sausage with hash browns and toast), and probably lunch.”

“We had a one night stay here while traveling. It was a very nice surprise to see all the effort with the nice upgrades inside and outside. Clean, comfortable, safe, reasonably priced and within easy driving distance to Shasta City, downtown Dunsmuir and Castle Craig. The bed had soft, comfortable bedding and a great mattress. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.”
