“Staying in the Round Lake Beach area to visiting family. Room is great and clean. Pretty view of Fox Lake. Only draw back is it is over a bar. Karaoke comes right up through the floor. Not to much of a problem as the bar closes at 11:00. So just have to suffer through the drunken super star want a be singers. It is good for some laughs. Over all I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. ”

“Neat, clean, well decorated ---the king size bed was absolutely the best sleep experience we've had! We enjoyed being in walking distance of restaurants and local businesses. The surrounding neighborhood features homes dating back to the late 1800's, early 1900's making for an interesting and relaxing walkabout. The hosts were attentive checking in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable.”

“The apartment was clean (although at one point, someone must have smoked in the apartment…I am ultra sensitive) and the bed was comfortable. It was only a 10 minute walk to downtown Arlington Heights, which was great, and a five minute walk to the post office! The only drawback to this place was the very loud air conditioner. It was like a jet engine…and it was only in one room.We used a supplied box fan for the bedroom. Overall, though, we had a nice stay.”

“After arriving at the apt, we realized there was only a wall air conditioner in the living room, only a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Not good when it’s sweltering outside. We chose to forgo our payment and not stay in the apt. It was clean and nicely decorated but too hot to sleep with out air conditioning. ”

“This was a fantastic stay. If ever I am back in Chicagoland, this is where I am staying. So much fun and convenient to the northeast suburbs of the city, including Waukegan and Gurnee.
