“This little place is a gem!! Wow! Less than $30 a night per room! It was clean, spacious rooms, beautiful views of the mountains. It was peaceful and the restaurant just down the road had delicious food. I would love to stay here again for a few nights instead of just one.”

“The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location close to town centre and river. Reception kindly helped me book a cheaper transfer to Hanoi than I was able to find online. Rooms were turned down each day with fresh water provided.”

“I stayed at Hotel 99 during the holidays and booked a private room at the standard rate. It seemed decent enough, and since I had my motorbike, I didn’t mind the location too much. The room was surprisingly spacious with three beds – could easily sleep three people – and had a private bathroom. The hot shower worked well, clean bedsheets, comfy pillows, towels provided, and even a little fridge That said, the place wasn’t particularly clean. “バンジョックの滝へ行くためにカオバンに2泊しました。ここのホテルの目の前がバスの停留所（標識はありませんが）になっているようで、滝へ行くにも、ハノイへ帰るためのバスターミナルへも困ることはありませんでした。スタッフが丁寧に教えてくれて、バスに乗る時も行き先を通訳して伝えてくれて本当に助かりました。ホテル内も清潔で気持ちよく過ごすことができました。使わないかもしれないけど冷蔵庫があれば星５でした。”
