That is not my opinion-the desk clerk escorted us to the grocery and back, made sure our Uber was in front before we left the lobby, etc. The area is not rundown. “BEEARE! This property is not what is advertised! The photos are fake, it is a 1 bedroom apartment, & it is located in a dangerous trash-strewn downtown area of Johannesburg. The owner gave us entry info at the very last minute & only after I contacted them, the directions were very confusing, & it became apparent the whole booking was a scam.
