“This property served as a fantastic base camp for our annual trip to the north woods. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. On the first night, we noticed the exterior lights were not working. I contacted the host, and he had them repaired by the next day. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The bonus was the sunsets over the lake. ”

“We had 8 guys spend 3 nights at this property. Cabin is wonderful and has a beautiful large open concept living room and kitchen. The presentation of everything is stunning with great natural light and accent lighting throughout. The couches were comfy, or comfy for 20 something year olds to crash on. There were also reclining options that were appreciated. Perfect house for a group of couples to rent out, maybe a large group of friends if you do not mind cuddling. We were able to see the lake……

“I read the reviews and was a little worried about the snakes that a past renter mentioned. We are very happy to report that we did not find any snakes at this location inside or out. Our grandchildren enjoyed the stay which included being outside and catching a lot of fish. The only issue we had were that the beds were not very firm. Our grandchildren asked when we were going to come back. We do plan on visiting in the future. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.”

“Our family needed a little getaway and this was perfect. It was a wonderfully private lake with nobody across the lake except the Bald Eagles! The wooded acreage was a great North Woods experience. The kids (ages 9 & 11) loved the Loft, so they could have their own space! The 2 docks were great fishing off of and there were fish caught regularly. The sandy shallow waters by the main dock was great for splashing in the water and to launch kayaks & paddle boards. Our Golden Retriever took his 8……

“This property is very relaxing and homey. It was perfor the 5 of us that stayed. There were so many beautiful waterfalls around the area, and not far from Lake Superior! Sitting out back by the pond listing to the frogs and watching the dragon flies was actually relaxing. We even saw a mother and baby deer a few days come to the pond! We loved our stay and would love to go back and experience it in the fall.”

“The cabin was clean and simple and perfect. There was nothing fancy and it was exactly what we needed for a weekend to unplug and just relax. We will definitely go back, maybe stay for a full week next time! The only drawback back is that the sheets were scratchy. I’m picky about sheets though and my husband said they were fine.”

“Relaxing, cozy clean and had a beautiful view of the lake!”

“The cottage was very cozy. The twin size quilt on the full bed created a little bit of a sharing challenge on the cooler nights. The pots and pans show their wear. Otherwise, very accommodating. Loved the resort gathering room.”

“Clean, quiet and peaceful. A perfect getaway to destress and relax.”

“The cabin was pretty nice and the amenities were great. Beautiful location. Some things were left to be desired. There was no hand soap in the bathroom or kitchen so we had to buy our own. There was also no towels left out so we had to find some in a linen closet that appeared to be for housekeeping. We also noticed quite a few cobwebs all over the cabin. In the corners of the bathroom floor, in the light fixtures etc. This made us question what other corners were cut by the cleaning crew. The……
