“Luiz & Rhonda are “Awesome”hosts. The house was great more like a museum. Our room was really nice and quiet. Breakfast was fresh fruit on waffles with bacon, omelet, and eggs Benedict. Rhonda definitely went above and beyond making our meals gluten free. We’ll return again in the future. I highly recommend this bed & breakfast you’ll love it. Ken & Cindy”

“I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. Heidi is extremely hospitable, her breakfast is excellent, including authentic English tea. It was very quiet, air conditioning worked amazingly well considering this is an old home, c 1800’s. The decor is adorable. The town is quite charming. Heidi made dining recommendations and did her utmost to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My only regret is I……

“This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.”

“I loved this place. There was an update in 2016 and someone made the mistake of getting white carpet. Live and learn. The bed was comfortable, there was a variety of pillows, the tavern shuts down at 9:00 so its all quiet by 11:00 p.m. The tavern is superb. I’d eat there again in a heartbeat. The place is old and has some quirks and that’s something that you either like because you like historical places or you don’t because you like modern things. I’d stay here again. ”
