It’s a bit far from touristic places which is not necessarily good or bad but great thing is that there’s a bus stop nearby with a free rode to the city center. The beach is 10-15 minutes to walk. Administrators are the nicest people who were there to navigate us in our first days on Crete.”

“our tiny studio apartment with kitchenette was perfect for our home base in Crete. We were able to use local buses and did not have to rent a car. we saved a lot of cash by cooking many meals ourselves. Every day we enjoy the beautiful views from the balcony where we ate our meals. Just a short walk to sandy Amoudara beach. restaurants near the waterfront are much more expensive than just a few blocks inland. We were able to hike up into the hills as well as the broad beach areas.”
