“Amazing grounds”

“Reservamos con pocos días de antelación ya que decidimos cambiar nuestro itinerario. El hotel fue un gran descubrimiento. Muy buen servicio, con una atención de 10. Habitaciones senzillas pero comodas, todo lo que puedes pedir por el precio. Sin duda repetiria”

“We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful……

“Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.”

Prashan ist ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher Gastgeber, der sich mit voller Hingabe um seine Gäste kümmert. Er sorgt dafür, dass sich jeder sofort willkommen fühlt und den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Neben der beeindruckenden Safari im Udawalawe-Nationalpark waren die abendlichen Kochsessions ein besonderes Erlebnis. Je nach Wunsch kann man aktiv mitkochen……

“The owner's attitude was nice, location is quite close to the Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast however was only an omelet, 2 pieces of toast and a small cup of juice for each person which wasn't enough for us. The room was full of dust, and the air coming out of the AC feels like mold. If you want to join the safari, the owner has a jeep and a driver to take us into the safari in the morning which needs an additional cost, and we feel it's a little too high price.”

“Really wonderful welcoming stay. The room was a bit musty smelling, and there were ants, but this was overshadowed by the managers hospitality. He really went the extra mile - even going to get beers for us as the shops were a bit far away :)”

“Dirty but the services of owner is good. Why the internet booking quotation is in USD but they only take rs!”

The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the hosts made the experience extra special, everyone was so friendly! Food was delicious and plentiful.
