“A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. ”

“I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. ”

“AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. ”

“Camere spaziose con arredamento molto semplice. Nelle nuove camere non c'è ancora la cassaforte, ma c'è la possibilità di usare quelle nella reception. Colazione buona e personale disponibile ed attento”

“Wir waren vom 10.auf den 11.Oktober Gäste im RETRO . Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig,das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Alles in allem sehr angenehm und entspannt. Würden wir wieder buchen. ”

“Hébergement propre et super service. En revanche la salle de bain est à revoir, avec de l'électricité dans la douche (boite de dérivation ouverte dans l'espace douche). Réservé davantage aux backpackers habitués à voyager dans des pays aux normes moins contraignantes qu'en Europe/US. Occidentaux "froussards" passez votre chemin !!!”

“Bodde 4 dager i Deluxerom. Litt hard seng, men romslig nye rom, stort bad med dusj. Svømmebassenget rett utfor døren var flott og rent. Frukost var den beste på vår ferietur i 3 veker på Zanzibar. Ikke middag på hotellet, men beachrestauranten ved stranda, server Antares også. Kort spasertur på 3 minutter til stranda, der solstoler/parasoller var reservert for oss hele dagen. ”

“Well... we should i start.. first of all..i am quite relaxed about stays ,not to fuzzy at all. check inn is non existent ..carry your luggage up the stairs yourself.. the rooms are horrendous , the matras was torn on several places ,the room was absolutely not clean.. big bugs on the walls, The water was almost every day cut off ,let alone be warm water for showering ,the staff is 1! girl whos rather on her phone than working . i stayed 17 nights ( because paid upfront) there was one other……
