“Really great time. Our goal was to do nothing in the middle of nowhere and we did just that. The location is secluded and remote. Cell service is sketchy. Tv did not have streaming ability or the ability to mirror from your phone so if you want to watch movies being dvd’s. I wanted to read anyway. The hot tub was great. Perfect actually. “Hannah provided a wonderful home in the heart of a historic neighborhood in Elkins. The house was clean, offered the necessities, and was furnished and decorated in a unique and comfortable manner. I felt right at home and it was an amazing place to rest after a long work week. I would highly recommend and would stay again. ”

“Start with the not positive, the house is located in a valley so winter weather made the roads not so great. The freezer could have been cleaner and lack of local stations made following weather and watching football games tough. The internet is not great.... Other than that, our stay was absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our needs, warm, loved being on the river, and comfy couches. The little touches took it over the top. “Great showers, lots of state parks within 1.5 hours. Didn’t use the house much as we were out and about. Appears fully stocked but we do bring our own food and cooking items. Only hiccup was the gas tank for the grill was under the gas fire pit and we didn’t know that until after cooking inside. Great place, would liked to have had more time in the house and area but, too busy elsewhere.”

“We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful! “Cute little house close to Elkins and literally across the road from the Monogohala National Forest. Went specifically to take the New Tygart Flyer. Food at the “Smoke on the Water “ is highly recommend. ”

This property has plenty of room so we could all gather at this property and enjoy each other's company without the distractions from ordinary life. “This property has well water and doesn’t get used often so when you use the water hot or cold it smells line rotten eggs the whole time water is being used The water was clean but had a strong odor of iron and rotten eggs. We was there 2 nights and it never got better. It was 90 degree on the Saturday we was there and the owner said we wouldn’t need the ac because the nights were still getting down to 40 so she said to leave it on heat 50 but boy that was a terrible mistake when the weather……

“This property was perfect. So beautiful. It was clean, had everything we needed and more. The owner, Mike was so fun! We went on a ride through the country to see the fall colors, gorgeous ♡ We will definitely be back!”
