“We loved the cottage! The bay was so close that even when you were inside you felt like you were on the beach. The sunsets were AMAZING. The neighbors were very quiet, the beach was private and the cottage was clean- leading to a nice, relaxing trip full of kayaking, fishing, reading on the beach and floating on the bay. Mathews area is our favorite spot due to the close proximity to groceries, restaurants and day trips. ”

“Love the new couches! It made the home way more comfortable. Had a problem with Roku but Glenda worked with my daughter to get it fixed. Can't beat the view!!!”

Loved the combined kitched/dining room in the upstairs , with the outside seating balcony. Decor was fun and beachy. Nice screened porches both upstairs and down.Living room was very big and homey. “This property is an absolute delight and exactly as advertised. But wait, there's more. The house comes with fresh cut flowers, fine chocolates, popcorn and coffee. The views are amazing! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The screened porch is a delight and there is almost always a breeze. One of the unexpected joys of the stay was watching Shannon, the owner, walk her 3 geese to the river each day for a quick swim. So cute! The house is only 15 minutes from town but……

“This house has beautiful views and it was only about 45 min to Williamsburg. It is on Hills Bay, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. The water is very shallow and would be great for younger kids. We brought kayaks and enjoyed our time on the water. It would be fantastic for someone that owns a boat too. The water doesn’t have many waves, but we tied a party size float to part of the dock and all the kids, ages 10-19, loved our time there. Since I’m the first review, I think I might be the first……
