“Stayed overnight at Mill Street Suite while exploring Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks. It was a cozy and comfortable experience in an extremely convenient location next to both state parks (just a few miles down the road) and on Mill Street next to several eating and drinking establishments. Went to Bruce and Ollie’s across the street for coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream multiple times during our stay. The suite was well appointed and updated with all the amenities anyone can need. “We found this place a few years ago and loved it. When we realized it was open for a last minute Mother’s Day weekend trip we jumped on it. What a great place. Unique, interesting, with plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be happy to stay again in the future. ”

“It's a nice apartment, cheaply but competently renovated. There were cobwebs around when we arrived but otherwise it was clean. The beds are VERY nice, extremely comfortable which is so important. My biggest gripe, something not demonstrated in the listing, is the fact that the property directly borders an actve train teack, and when i say it's right outside I mean it is RIGHT outside. I was kept up the entire night one of the nights of our stay because of a pair of trains stopping and starting……

“This is a large, clean place with good water pressure, air conditioning, and laundry facilities. The bathroom light is dim and the best mirror for shaving etc is in one of the bedrooms. The bed I used was ok. I had a little trouble with the single-cup Keurig machine. There is no rack for washing dishes and no knife appropriate for cutting up fruit.
