“We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH……

“Checkin was great. Paul was to meet us, even after we got lost he waited for us. Gave us information about surounding area, The location is very good, easy walk to almost everywhere. Loved that it was in a traditional building, but the inside is a little tired. Some of the furniture could be updated ( both sofas ) the court yard needed some major cleaning, and maybe a fresh coat of paint and updated art inside would be nice. It was close to as pictured. “This was wonderful place to stay. It was convenient to drive wherever we wanted to go. The town itself was lovely and the locale of this apartment was beautiful. Our view included a windmill, a canal and a church as well farm animals and plenty of green space. The owners were friendly and helpful. We loved our time here and were sad to leave.
