“We spent a long weekend at Alex's beautiful cottage, and got to tour the grounds of the gorgeous garden and community with our gracious host, which was a treat. We were able to host a group of friends here for a fantastic brunch, which the place couldn't have been more perfect for -- everyone was charmed by the adorable chickens and resplendent environment. The place was very comfortable, spacious, scenic and well -appointed, and Alex made us feel perfectly at home. Can't wait to stay here again……

“This home was billed as a new listing. The communication with the property owner wasn't very good. I had to reach out to him to get the door code. There is absolutely no grass in the back yard. It's completely black dirt. The front steps were completely full of leaves. There was garbage all over in the front yard. The kitchen floor had stick down vinyl that was coming up every where. There were barely any silverware and dishes in the kitchen. There weren't any instructions anywhere in the house……

“We ended up having 5 adults and 4 children in our group. The home was cozy and we had plenty of room. In my opinion the kitchen was the only downside to this property. We were there for Christmas and stayed inside. Could have used bigger variety of cookware and the dishwasher doesn't work.”

“We stayed here with a group of women for my mom’s 70th birthday. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have their own space, lots of bathrooms, and really cool layout of the home. Highly recommend for a large group!”

“In town for family event and was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked for home cooked meals. We were surprised not to find tv in living room on first floor but it promoted family time. Great location and very comfortable. ”

“We had a great stay in Jerri's place for May Day 2025. The space (two bedrooms) was just what we needed, but be aware that the second bedroom does not have a door, if privacy of that kind is important for your group. It didn't matter for us, and the space worked out great for us! The location was easy and the apartment had everything we needed to be able to travel light for a quick weekend trip. Highly recommend! ”

“Excellent accommodations. Everything was thought out with the guest in mind. We were extremely busy in the land of lakes so we didn’t have much down time to relax in the Nook. It looked like a perfect place to just sit and read a book. The garden was starting to show, wish we could go back soon and see it in full bloom. It is very well designed. So many beautiful touches.
