“Really great property that our group thoroughly enjoyed for a retreat! Accessible distance from Albuquerque and lots of space. Facilities are on the older side and well used but very clean and in good working order. Some notes on the layout:The cabin is about a 10 minute walk from the lodge / bunkhouse. “The home was just as beautiful if not more beautiful than the photos. The views are breathtaking. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. The house is beautifully appointed. They literally thought of everything!We arrived during the snowfall which was magical. There is significantly more snow at this property than other properties lower down the mountain which means, they are NOT messing when they say you need a 4x4 to access the property. “This property was extremely well-stocked with everything a person could need. The place was very functional for two couples like we had. Although Angel Fire itself is not as interesting a destination itself, especially in summer, it is convenient for visiting Taos and other parts of the Enchanted Circle area. “We had an amazing time in Angel Fire! The property was clean, stocked & perfect for our family of 5. There’s a short hike you can take to the resort or hop on a shuttle just outside the property. Plenty of equipment rental shops around the area and the property has storage for them on the bottom floor. Our host, Lisa, is amazing! She sent us tips & recommendations prior to our arrival. “We had a great time at this charming cottage: remote, quiet, beautiful nature. House was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the essentials and more!
