“This property is very nice and seems to be in a nice neighborhood. The only challenge was checkin. The host required multiple proofs of ID before sending a checkin code after we were already at the property and after already going through additional steps of completing a host-requested additional form to validate the VRBO ID process, which we had done days in advance. We waited for over an hour outside the property for a reply to our code requests and then, once we received a reply, we still had……

“Family trip to Universal Hollywood. Great location in North Hollywood within short driving distance of everything. The house was amazing and the kids loved the pool. 8 people stayed comfortably. Host was very responsive to questions and helpful with requested information.”

“The place was clean and safe. Very comfortable bed and good quality towels. Bathroom was nice. My complaint is that it didn’t look as comfortable as it did on the picture. The big area rug was missing, there was no coffee table, and there was one lamp in the place, which was over by the couch with nowhere to plug it in. I had to move the heavy lamp, with an injured hand, over to the other side of the bed. The booklet in the house said that the place was full of books, but there was only one.……

“This is an average property. Def not luxury. Rough scratch towels and only a few of them. Furnishings were modest. Home needed painting, cupboards and amenities just average. The pool photo’s made it look like luxury. The check in process was not smooth. We were sent two messages about a hidden key, instead there was a lock box. After reaching out we were informed of lockbox and code. Keys were old, locks needed graphite. Very uncomfortable for a woman alone btw. Still, the place……

“The set-up is no-frills and nice: 2 bedrooms with queens, 1 with bunks and 2 bathrooms. It's a good option for families. The house was clean, well-appointed and as-advertised. It's the back house though, so don't expect a stand-alone house/property. The owner was communicative. We had a good experience overall!”
