“The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. When we arrived, the heat had been set to 65, it was quite cold. It did take a while to warm up as it's radiant heat (in the floors). Could have used a few more necessities in the kitchen. The game room offers hours of endless fun. ”

“Our group had a great stay here, the home is more beautiful than the pictures. Watkins Glen was only ~20 minutes away. We didn't get the chance to go down to the lake but the view was great. The deck had plenty of space and we liked the fire pit. The host instructions were clear and responsive. Thank you for.a wonderful stay!”

“It’s a wonderful place to get together and enjoy as a family. The place is well equipped for kids of all ages and adults. We spent great time together and to top it we had an amazing snow day where kids enjoyed the slopes outside the house. We couldn’t use outside space but if it’s summer, it’s a great abode to enjoy with friends. I would highly recommend this place and the hosts are amazing and considerate. ”

“Location was ideal, size was good. I liked the setup of the front door lock and had it been warmer weather, would have loved to use the front porch swing. Definitely older overall but we weren’t looking for luxury and I think it was appropriately priced. Felt like someone lived there when it’s not being rented, which I understand but some personal items (specifically bathroom) could have been stored away. Overall we would stay there again. ”

“The house was wonderful! Just beautiful! Everything was great until the last day. it's the only Vrbo I've stayed in that the owner did not text me upon check in to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Also, the only one that I could not find a phone number for anywhere, there was a book with all information, but no number to contact. On the day we were checking out, the water was turned off and hour and 15 minutes before check-out, so I wasn't even able to take a shower. ”

“…. Well, not exactly in “woods” but a very private setting , and for this “nature lover” traveler it was a great find. The private waterfall was amazing and I could hear it with windows opened and to see the Lake from my perch out the bedroom door was awesome also. It is cabin-like and not modernized - almost like it is stuck in time - but it was a warm and cozy place to come back to after day time site seeing - visiting Cornell, Ithaca, tons of parks and waterfalls - lots to do and see in……

“The yurt was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning stove almost every night, played lots of puzzles and games, and enjoyed sightseeing in the area.
