“This is premier condo on the Neuse river. Communication with Patricia was excellent and she was a responsive host. The expansive balcony overlooking the Neuse river was great for enjoying the river and boats. New Bern has a lot to offer and recommend the Trolley tour, ghost walk and Tyron.”

“My wife and I stayed at the property from April 25th to May 3rd on vacation to celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay and found the host, Christine Britton, to be very welcoming and responsive to all of our needs. Christine did everything she could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and we will be coming back whenever we visit New Bern (my wife’s hometown) in the future. I would enthusiastically recommend this property to friends and family.”

“The bed was the most comfortable we have had on this trip. It is a casper-type mattress with a memory foam mattress topper, which is like what we have at home. Nice and soft. There are three sets of seven steps, plus three more at ground level, so 24 steps to get to the unit. Something to consider if you have luggage to carry up. The toilet tank was not filling after flushes, requiring manual pushing on the float. It was not fixed in the two days we were there, but hopefully will be before the……

“This was a cool place to stay, quiet neighborhood and 5 minute drive across the bridge to New Bern. Pool table was fun and loved the fish! Love that the building used to be a store, very interesting history. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The best part of our stay was making coffee in the morning and sitting on the screen porch relaxing, listening to the birds. A short walk to the harbor or the rec center (with two pools! - $10/day for the 2 of us). Very quiet, felt safe.”

“Stayed here to visit family. All went well except for our last day when the hot water heater went out. We called Mary and she offered to have plumber come fix it right away. It was our last noise we opted to go to a hotel in Raleigh. Mary refunded us for the last night. She was very responsive and the refund came through quickly. She is a great owner and responsible.
