“Got this place for a 3 day get away. The owners were lovely and very accommodating! They even loaned us something’s we didn’t think we’d need. The house was well stocked with all sorts of supplies in the kitchen and the bathroom. For its smaller size it sleeps a lot of people. Perfect for family or friends, as long as you don’t mind all sleeping in a bunk room situation. We loved the close proximity to Garner and are already planning a trip to rent this place again in the future. ”

He made sure we were taken care of, had everything we needed, was extremely timely on communicating with us and was readily available with the free shuttle service every-time we asked with enough tubes for our very large group! Although he lives on site, Donny stays discreet and pops in only when……

“We were 10 people. One family of 5 stayed in the bunkhouse, one family upstairs and 1 couple downstairs. We had plenty of room and it was comfortable. There was good water in the river. It is a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed our stay and would return. ”

“August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away……
