“Amber Hotel is adequate if you seek a bed, toilet and shower. Expect no frills. Good value in Mumbai. Culture, eateries and other retailers within esy walking distance. Decent coffee shop 4 minutes' walk away. Pizza Hut also recommended. ”

“Enjoyed the location of the hotel, next to the famous marine parade, and the transport options were unlimited.”

“Hotel was fine. Staff friendly and helpful. Some rooms nicer and bigger than others. Bathroom was small. Pool towels. Not a fancy area but you could walk to a lot of attractions. Bestvto download google maps as area is confusing. ”

“The bathrooms need renovating but other than that, good location, big rooms, friendly staff. Good breakfast and great stay. Bathrooms decent but could do with some renovating. ”

“I have traveled the globe and have been in some uncomfortable accomodations, but this was easily the worst, grossest place I've ever stayed. My room had stains on the bed, on the walls, around the bathroom. They used this really strong chemical pesticide for the roaches (gross) that smelled so bad of chemicals. They masked the smell with perfumed aerosols and it was even worse! If you're prone to headaches or allergic to perfumes, be warned. It was so bad I asked for a partial refund so I could……

“the room is not very bright, the toilet is not welcoming at all... good choice only if you are staying outside all the day as it is cheap and very close to the sae side. Starbucks round the corner is a big plus!”

“Lot of work going on, and working all through the night, lots of noise and banging and machines all night.”

“The staff are kind. For example, when I hung out the laundry in the room in the morning, they left the fan running so that it would dry well. But there is no excessive service. There are various types of breakfast. The linen is clean. The linen is getting old, so I think it would be more comfortable if it was changed. I appreciate the kindness during my stay. It is my home in Mumbai. I will come to stay again.”
