“I initially wanted to give this place a lower rating due to the villa I rented on January 11 for an April trip was given to someone else. I found this out 2 days before we checked in! I rented a villa with a separate bedroom ,queen sofa sleeper and a full kitchen with oven. We needed the oven to prepare our Easter dinner that was ordered from Honeybaked ham. There was 2 of us traveling, not a couple. It was assumed we were a couple and moved 2 a studio with one bed, no sofa sleeper and no……

“This house is located 3-5 minutes from beaches in Venice and just a few minutes from historic downtown Venice. We enjoy beach combing for shark’s teeth and shells. Manasota Beach is great for that and only 15 min away. There is also a Publix supermarket within a few minutes walk. The house itself is well stocked with cooking gear and beach gear. It is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if we visit the Venice area again”

“We had a great stay at this lovely Venice home. The kids enjoyed the pool and the beds were super comfy. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had and the house was bright and spacious. Our favorite activity was searching for shark's teeth on Venice beach. We hope to return again!”

“My husband wanted to go shark tooth hunting at Venice beach close to Sharky’s. I found this cute house very close by with a pool in the back yard. It was perfect. Super clean, wonderful amenities. Anything you could need. Plenty of beach towels. Little extras like coffee & paper plates. We couldn’t be more happy. The only problem was that we wanted to book again for next year but it was already booked. I can’t think of one wrong thing. ”

“Wonderful stay. Fenced yard for the dog was nice. Everything was very clean and welcoming. It took us a bit to figure out tv. If I had known it had Netflix I would have brought my password paper. Unfortunately beaches were closed. We hope to return as we have family in the area. Thanks”

“We enjoyed our visit, and were pleased with the property and its location to places we wanted to go. The pool is a bit outdated and could use an update, and fix the pool lights. But otherwise for just the two of us, it was nice and Carmen and her husband were very friendly and Quick to respond when we had questions.”

“A great spot to celebrate birthdays and a friends get away! Spotless and well equipped, the outside patio was wonderful for both sun and shade!! We totally enjoyed coffee out by the pool. There is nothing negative to say!Thank you.”

“Lovely house, clean, and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood and comfy beds. Location is close to downtown, historic Venice, Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, and North Jetty kayak rentals. We enjoyed our stay!”

“This house is just as advertised and in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Very convenient to the beach, shopping, grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to stay here again.”

“The house was extremely clean and nicely decorated. We could tell the house had been recently renovated and it was lovely inside. The owner was very considerate and friendly. However, the neighborhood was less than desirable. The step down in the kitchen was a bit dangerous, but we placed a chair at the edge to remind us of the step down. ”
