“The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room was nice, but perhaps a little dated. There was no shower cubicle but a shower attachment over the bath which was tricky to position and did not appear to be thermostatically controlled so the water temp varied. This however was a minor inconvenience. The staff were lovely. The views from the room over the town and up to the hilltop church were nice. “This is a modern property. We had a room with a panoramic view onto the lake. Breakfast buffet was good but disappointing selection of Portuguese cheeses. The hotel has recently added a restaurant - excellent. Very little English spoken. ”
