“We fished although we didn't catch anything, the view of the lake was so relaxing to look at, couldn't ask for better weather. Our dog loved swimming in it. We enjoyed evenings sitting on the porch listening to nature. We eat in cooking breakfast and dinner and ate our meals out on the porch. Also went on a mountain drive. Hope to return one day! “House as described. Has a coffee pot/kuerig combo and nicely provided k-cups. Deck and firepit are nice. Stairs to upstairs beds are steep.Keep in mind there are no closets or kitchen towels. King bed was ok if slept in middle. Had indentions already on sides. Did not fish, but looks like good place for it bringing own gear. Close to Home restaurant in Altamont was good. Hiking was the reason we chose the area. We do want to visit the area again in the future.”
