“We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. If you’re looking for peace and quiet you’ll find it here. Our favorite part was sitting on deck chairs in front of the cabin and listening to the birds singing and the clip-clopping of the horse-drawn Amish buggies passing by. We also enjoyed going to some of the Amish stores and businesses, and hiking around the lake at Sidie Hollow County Park.”

“My husband and I came up for a quick visit to see my in-laws. I wish we could have spent more time at this cabin. It was adorable, it had all the necessary amenities. “Came for a quiet getaway and a little trout fishing. This cabin was perfect for that. Secluded but not remote. Easy to get to. I wish that it had been a bit warmer so that we could have used the wonderful porch. However, the interior was very comfortable and clean, so it all worked out nicely.”

Visitor Center staff were kind, engaged, and knowledable. Neat displays and information. Enjoyed learning about Norwegian heritage and history. Property manager provided great communication. Signage to property was also helpful. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.”

“Cozy cottage with enough room to sleep at least 10 people. Full kitchen to make all meals. Very clean and super cute. We had a relaxing couple of days over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cold but we hiked Wildcat Mountain, the Ice Cave Trail as well as many spots in the Kickapoo reserve. Beautiful Amish country with cool antique shops around. We visited Wildthings Furs right around the corner and bought affordable furs. We also found some treasures at the Amish Walmart. The reception is……
