“Our stay at Somerville House was excellent. Sheila and Steve were very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely first class, the beds were extremely comfortable and the room had plenty of storage space. The beautiful garden was quiet and colourful with plenty of garden tables and chairs to use and a large canopy for shade which Steve put up for us. “Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. ”
