“The Buena Creek Refuge is indeed a beautiful refuge. We felt relaxed the moment we popped out of the cars. Nine of us spent 6 nights celebrating our 50th anniversary and visiting the area attractions. It was wonderful to have the Refuge to come home to rather than some hotel. The 2 grandkids loved the pool and climbing to the gazebo almost as much as Legoland. Great kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and did I mention 5 king beds! Our host was easy to communicate with and I enjoyed all……

“Everything was better or as advertised! As a particular plus, the property managers were extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The only hiccup was that we were unable to heat the pool in time for our use - this was no one's fault though - the property manager tried to heat it but needed the wifi/the wifi was out when he tried to start heating it a day in advance. We were at a wedding when he reached out about the wifi (which just needed a reset) so it was a……

“The house was very clean and comfortable. Best for extended families because of the adjoing rooms. Note that rooms 3-4-5 all share a Jack and Jill bathroom and room 6 must share the en suite bath in room 7. Room 8 has a private en suite and rooms 1 and 2 share an en suite. It was too cool to use the pool in Dec. but the hot tub was great. You do need to text the owner to turn on the hot tub or adjust the heat but the response was always immediate. There were plenty of towels and kitchen items.”
