“Very nice home, supplied with everything we needed for a very nice weekend. The house is super clean. We enjoyed sitting outside in the gazebo.”

“Our stay at Clayton Bank was great. Only issue was the internet didn’t work but Hosts were responsive to the issue. ”

“Cozy farmhouse with lots of land. Well maintained and beautifully redone home. ”

“Exactly what we expected and needed with a very convenient location. Main bath with tub and shower is up a narrow stairwell (not easy for a person with limited mobility), but we were made aware of it in advance. Was really hot outside during our stay, but the house was cooled down well and stayed comfortable.”

“The house was perfect! The house was very clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and coffee on the front porch was relaxing. The backyard was great too. We were lucky to see a spectacular sunset from the backyard. Highly recommend this house and I would stay here again next time I am in the area. ”

“This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. The adjoining dining room has a large table with additional seating and windows lining two walls. And clean! This VRBO was impressively clean! I have to say the jail was a little eery after dark, but……

“We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!”

“The home was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the small towns in the surrounding area. It was nice to get out of the big city and relax.
