“My husband and I stayed two nights in the cabin while in the area for the Grayson Highlands 50-mile trail race. The cabin was so cute and cozy, clean, just as pictured. Incredible mountain views from the front porch and the hot tub, both of which proved key to my recovery the following morning! We cannot have had a more pleasant day, and would return here in a heartbeat when able. Such a gem. Thanks to the hosts for making it available.”

“I loved the quiet peacefulness of the cabin. It is obviously a treasured family space. It was lovely to read about and see photos of it's history. The location was perfect for exploring West Jefferson and hiking Grayson Highlands. Having my dog, Remi with me made this the perfect. ”

“GORGEOUS and so serene! This place is a gem! Very clean on the inside with nice upgrades. So enjoyed the creek that runs on the property along with the view of the backyard. The kitchen had everything you needed and we enjoyed the generous dog treats and sweets left for us by the owner. Very nice added touch! If you want peace, quite and serenity, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back! ”

“Looks like a big beautiful grassy yard in the pics but there's no yard... only a gravel parking area. Toilet is messed up with water turned off in the master bedroom/bathroom main floor. Really enjoyed our stay just wish we had room to do things outside. Awesome stay other than that!”

“We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.”

“We needed a weekend away and booked last minute. We had such a wonderful time reconnecting with each other and disconnecting from the world. We loved the hot tub, the quietness of the property, and driving around seeing all the wildlife. ”

“Beautiful property. Me and my family enjoyed our stay. Staff is very kind and understanding. Basement bed was a little stiff but not completely uncomfortable. Also I think a rug in there would make that bedroom perfect! Overall this was a very nice getaway spot, I would recommend! ”
