“We spent the week celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from high school and enjoyed the property very much. Walking the path through the dunes to the beach was a no-go due to mosquitoes from early flooding but at no one's fault. We were within a short drive to the beach (thanks for posting about getting our vehicle beach permit). Great view and amenities--we ate in the screened-in porch every day! Highly recommend and would stay there again!”

“Nice little house on the river in Matagorda. The house was the perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the back deck looking out over the river and marsh lands. The furiture was comfortable and the house was clean when we got there. We ended up sleeping on the futon in the livingroom because the portable a/c unit in the bedroom was super loud and the bed was super soft in the middle. The dock light was nice, but did attract alot of bigs when on. FYI- the……

“House is very clean , the host responds very quickly and lives on the first floor which was a little uncomfortable at first but ended up being more than fine , very friendly and the fenced back yard was a big plus with our dogs . The big L shape porch is perfect , the interior of the house is colorful and fun , we ll be back ”

“The amount of space was perfect for our blended big family 4th of July beach vacation! The check in process was a breeze, the location was perfect with fishing and crabbing right off of the back yard dock. The children really had a great time with many firsts, like fishing/crabbing and beach time just a short drive away. Perfect space for the adults to have fun playing games as well. “We enjoyed our weekend stay! It was the perfect home away from home while my husband was in a fishing tourney. The condo is directly next to the community pool which is nice. There is no poolside shade. The condo is a little outdated, but it did not take away from the overall feel and comfort of the house. During our stay, we did have an issue with raccoons living in the void between the two floors. They were very loud and woke us up multiple times. We let the owner know and she said she would……

“We had a great family vacation. We had plenty of room with 7 adults and 2 kids. The pool for the condos is great for adults and kids. They also have a pond on site that has some huge fish in it. You can easily walk to the beach or make a very short drive to get to the beach. My family had a wonderful time and look forward to going back some time.”
