Great place for children, bunkbeds as well as an outdoor fenced area to keep the littles away from the river. The pier is lighted and a great place to fish ”

“The property was clean and mostly as described except the listing should be as a condo. This house is split and I believe the owners have the other side. They were not there during our stay. Also if you are bringing a boat, the steep dip in driveway will not allow your trailer to back in so would be tough if sharing with owners or another renter. Even the check in and out instructions on the fridge call this a condo. Once again, it was clean, great location. There is not a specific master……

“This spot was close to kayak launching spots and fishing hot spots - which was the primary purpose of our trip. The lit fishing deck was an added bonus! The house was clean and perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. We had plenty of towels and toiletries for our stay. We would definitely stay again if we find our way back to the area. ”

“My wife and I had an excellent stay in Matagorda I’d recommend this place to all my friends it’s close to the beach and perfect place to relax over the weekend! We will be back for sure. ”

“The house is perfect for a couple on a short stay. Even though it’s across the street from the riverfront, you can watch boats and birds between the houses. Very close to the bait shop and boat ramp.”

“Perfect location to enjoy the beach at Matagorda. We drove our car with all our beach gear down to the beach (4x4 highly recommended) and then walked back and forth to the house during the day using the trail through the dunes. Shoes/sandals are needed for the trek through the dunes, as well as bug spray, but its a very easy walk. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and relax when not at the beach. I will book again when visiting Matagorda.”

“It was a chill place nearby nothing but a gorgeous beach. Warning: you have to have a four wheel drive vehicle or garden galoshes to get the beach. The house was in good shape for being older. It sleeps a lot of people. ”
