“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“Condo was as described, beautiful view. Condo was well stocked with whatever we needed. Self check in so if you have questions there is no one to help. There was a tree being taken down while we were there so parking was a problem & it was very noisy. One day the on site manager let herself right into the condo when we were there without our permission, that was a little disturbing. ”

“Wonderful resort. Great food and staff. The room smelled musty when we arrived. There were instructions posted for all the rules and to contact the property owner if there were any issues. But, there was not a contact number. There was no way to wash towels or bedding for the 4 night stay. The pillows provided were extremely heavy and hard. The provided fan did not work. We bought our own pillows and a new fan. ”

It’s private and feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The owners made the check in process and communication easy. Overall a great first experience to Kauai! ”
