“This is a very nice place to unwind. The other condos that we've stayed at are closer to the beach but those areas seem a little more busy and hectic. Out here is less touristy and therefore quieter and relaxed. Much more of a house/home than a mass produced condo feel. ”

“We have been to the Big Island many times and staying Waipio Gardens was one of the best trips we've ever had there. It is a beautiful property that provided serenity, great hiking and amazing beach time. The house is nestled in the jungle in the valley with gorgeous plants, fruit trees, lots of birds and even wild horses. We picked and enjoyed fresh oranges, grapefruit and papaya. “Wow, what an amazing house! The rooms were spacious and easily accommodated our large family. Beautiful sunshine poured into the house which made coffee in the morning and drinks in the evenings on the many lanai's very enjoyable. The back yard was peaceful and full of song birds, but what I loved most was being able to walk to the ocean in under a minute! This is definitely the nicest place we have stayed on the island and would definitely stay here again.”

The home has 270degree views from the lanai of Kohalo, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Hualalai (all the mountains) and an absolutely gorgeous view of the Kohalo and Kona coastline.
