“My Wife & I truly enjoyed our stay at Kamilo!!! Your home is lovely- it is exactly how we would’ve decorated our Hawaiian home if we had one. It had everything we needed for our 10 day stay! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and straightforward. We had a couple of very minor concerns and maintenance was there first thing the next morning (what incredible service!). The house was lovely and everything we were looking for. Two of my family members are extremely allergic to cats. The listing didn't mention cats at the time of our booking - however, that has been changed. The owner did communicate that there was a feral cat near the home before……

“House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else. “This was a perfect spot for my partner and me and our two young kids. The unit had everything we needed and was very clean, cute, and comfortable, and we appreciated the good wifi when we had to hop on a work call or queue up a movie for the kids at night. “We had a wonderful time on the Big Island of Hawaii! The home was beautiful and comfortable. It is well appointed and very well stocked. The beautiful pool, hot tub and gym are close walking distance from the house. We also walked or took a very short drive to the shops nearby, which had a market, coffee/juice shop plus many other restaurants and shops. “Beautiful views and home is appointed as described. There was severe weather resulting in our early departure due to a loss of electrical and plumbing. We were graciously reimbursed for the day we could not stay there. The 3k security deposit was required very early and held for the maximum 14 days after checkout, which I found annoying. The resident host is just lovely and did all she could to accommodate Mother Nature's wrath.”
