“We stayed for a long weekend at the Hunker Inn to explore Lewisburg and tour the Greenbrier bunker. The cottage was spacious and charming with retro decor. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Biscuits and gravy next door at The Hunkerdown were delicious for Saturday morning breakfast. The coffee was delicious as well. It was a little farther away from Lewisburg than we would have liked, but it was otherwise perfect. Our host was very friendly, helpful……

“We had a wonderful stay! Very large, clean and perfect place to stay. The bathroom is on the other side of the room away from the sleeping areas so there is no inconvenience if others are sleeping. Great sofa area with large TV and bar area. Perfect location to VT and Blacksburg!”

“We chose this rental because we could bring our dogs but we will be back because the place was terrific! The owners thought of everything, leaving us local coffee beans, dog treats, and ear plugs! The house is on a busy road but the back yard is fenced in and was perfect for our two fur babies. Cozy house that is close to great hiking trails. ”

“Great location. Very peaceful and relaxing. We were only there for a quick overnight stay for graduation at Va Tech. This was a great solution when our original plans fell through. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all the place has to offer. My only current concern staying longer is the lack of a shower.
