“This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend!”

“Overall this was a great place to stay. We had 5 adults and a toddler and were comfortable. We brought our Cavachon and he did well too! Host was very responsive and great with work with. Only drawbacks, floors were a little dirty. If there was a regular mop, I would have cleaned the floors! Ants around the sink, and strong odor from someone’s previous pet visit. All manageable and I’d stay there again! ”

“Our VRBO home was the perfect selection and location for our gathering of 3 generations to celebrate our youngest two boys (twins) graduation from Virginia Tech. All of us staying together under one roof, made the weekend so much more special. Instead of fighting the crowds for restauraunt reservations we were able to order in, relax, and spend more time together as a family. The home was the anchor of a great weekend. “The house was perfect for our group to enjoy while we were in town to enjoy the Metallica concert at Lane Stadium. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate up to 10 people comfortably. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Large yard for your furry friend(s) so they can come with you! We will definitely be back to stay when we travel to Blacksburg in the future!”

“Had a wonderful stay. Nancy was most accommodating and extremely responsive to messages. House very pleasant. Was most entertaining to sit in the evenings on the porch and watch the goats battle for sleeping places.As an aside, as it is a farm, there are outdoor cats so if you have a cat allergy just be aware. They do not come in the house at all. ”
