“About 20 minutes to walking & colonial Williamsburg, 20 to Busch Gardens. Very clean. It was really warm when we arrived but cooled down well enough (the upstairs more effectively than the downstairs but both were pleasant). This is a Hilton run resort and it was a gorgeous property with lots to do on its campus (indoor pool, mini golf, walking grounds, gym, fishing, etc etc). The kitchens were well enough appointed. Make sure you bring salt and pepper as they weren't included with the "basics."……

“The property was as advertised and had everything we needed for our family get-away. It should be noted that even though we stayed on the Kingsmill property, we were not able to make tee times and play golf which we've been able to do in the past. Guessing the policy has changed if you do not book through the resort. No problem though as there are planty of golf courses around and we had not trouble getting a tee time at a very nice course. the location we had was also very nice and……

“This was a great place. We had a small issue at the beginning but the owner addressed it immediately and was very communicative.We liked the view of tie tennis courts and it was a short walk to the marina and the golf club. The kitchen was appointed well for our purposes. The cafe is within walking distance and they are very friendly there.”

“Had a wonderful time at this condo right on the golf course. Was a quick walk to really nice views of the river and to resort community restaurants. Everything in the house was really lovely and I had everything I needed to prepare meals, relax and the stay was overall comfortable and hassle free. Totally recommend and hope to go again next time I'm in Williamsburg and need a little getaway from my everyday. Thank you!”

“The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner……

“I was expecting more from the room accommodations, because of the price. The restaurant was very nice with excellent service. Pricey as to be expected. However, the room was really dated and mediocre. Almost had a dingy feel. It had two landline phones, one even in the bathroom (lol), and neither worked. I drove around to 3 different locations to find ice, bc 2 out of the 3 machines were broken. The only reason I’d stay here again is if I got a really good deal. The rooms really need some……
