“Our host was exemplary in showing us the local area. We had a deeply moving experience at both Kataragama and Tissamaharama. Pradath is an excellent resource for All things Sri Lanka. The accommodations are first rate. Big comfortable bed. Modern shower and tub. A/C and Wi-fi work great. Excellent meals prepared. It is the perfect spot to retreat in the evening. “Lucky, i saw four leopards, two in evening safari and two in morning. Even we weren’t the first car arrived but the diver/guider can find the best locations to us for taking picture once the leopard moving. “Stayed 1 night for safari. Perfect location for early safari, you don’t have to wake so early. Staff forgot my take away breakfast but it’s fine coz it would be a simply sandwich only. Booked a Half Bord Plan as no where to eat nearby, the dinner was buffet style but not much choices of food and not taste good. “Very beautiful place. Very quiet, green and glorious forest around it. The lake next door is beautiful. The sunset from the restaurant was beautiful. One slight issue I found was big red ants in bathroom (didn't come to bedroom and didn't trouble when in bathroom but was concerning). Rest everything was fantastic. “Well, we should have a good experience there since it locates in the nature. But the management is poor because they charged us twice! I booked the hotel on hotels.com and paid immediately, but after coming back our country, I checked my bills and found the hotel charged one more time through my credit card! “Beautiful property, the rooms were spacious and uniquely decorated and fit the jungle aesthetic. Due to its proximity to Yala National Park, we saw many wild Peacocks roaming around in the backyard. This also meant that the Safari jeep was able to pick us up on the main road easily on the way to the park. On the downside, the property was located at the end of a dirt path off the main road and was not properly marked on the map. This made it very difficult was taxi drivers to find the hotel.……
