“Sehr schön gelegene Lodge mit sehr schöner Aussicht. Leider hatten wir in der 2. Nacht Ratten im Zelt was weniger schön war..es wurde sich aber schnell darum gekümmert. Zudem sind die Einheimischen in der Umgebung anscheinend sehr Partyfreudig, weswegen es manchmal bis 23 Uhr sehr sehr laut war! Schade… aber alles zusammen ein guter Aufenthalt.”

“The Managers were absolutely wonderful. So friendly, caring, so thoughtful, and so polite. Rooms were enormous with Four Poster Bed. Surrounded by Nature. Morning call from Peacocks, sunset, evening muted Elephant calls. Food requests honoured and the cooking was magic. Breakfast FoC and as much as a Wrestler could possibly eat. “We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area……

“Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!”

“basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. (only reason y i gave a 4 rating as i was sweating throughout the night) the staff were great though especially Dhanushka who went all out to arrange a comfortable stay for us, including getting a beer and dinner for us. he……
