“My husband and I came up to Ludington, first time visiting Michigan. It was so fun! What made it even easier was finding The Little White Cottage. The owner was prompt to reply and the cottage is just as it shows in the pictures. It was the perfect place to get away. Close to Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan. It definitely gets a 10/10 for cleanliness which is one of my top requirements. It is located perfectly for getting around to different activities. If you’re there you will pass……

“Warm, sunny midweek getaway in late September. Cute, comfortable cabin on the water. Sunsets a few steps away, and easily seen out the cabin window, close to beaches. Ping pong in gathering place. Best view of the water of all the cottages in this resort. Relaxing time!”

“I had stayed in the Vacation lane places many times well before they were updated. They did a great job of updating this place. Only complaint I would have is needing "all" of your own linens (blankets, sheets, towels, wash cloths, pillow cases) It's a lot to pack when you're traveling for a long weekend. But I would 1000% stay there again, and the host was excellent at getting back to me.”

“Wonderful home on beautiful Big Star. House was clean with everything you need for a fun family weekend away. We were able to put our boat in the water and leave it in for the weekend. The driveway and parking was able to accommodate boat trailer and multtiple vehicles. ”

“This is a great place for people who are not interested in fussiness or frills and just want to enjoy a comfortable cottage in a gorgeous, great location. You’ve got to bring along a lot of your own stuff (towels, dish soap, sponge, bath soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, that sort of thing), there’s no air conditioning, and my Verizon phone signal was better than the wifi even at full strength. But that’s not what we came for! We came to enjoy the area, and it was perfect for us. Very tidy……
