“I'm splitting this review into two, the hotel and the pub because the hotel is a separate building. THE HOTEL I loved the unique little touches at this hotel. The reception has complimentary fruit and refrigerated milk (I don't like UHT). You can also fill up on tea & coffee at reception (none of this only one tea bag per person per night malarkey). Room was really nicely decorated, love the bright pops of colour in the armchairs and mirrors too. Staff were great, friendly and……

“Lovely grounds, nice styling to the hotel with comfy sofas and shabby chic A bit worn in places Lovely staff and delicious breakfast with all variations- cooked, fresh cut fruit, fresh toast, very good quality pastries all to order Comfy bed and numerous pillows VERY powerful shower! Had to turn it down Just small negatives- near the M6 is very convenient but of course you can hear it outside!! Curtain barely covers the window No hairdryer ( haven’t asked at reception as brought my own just in……

“Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. ”

“Location is desirable with 20-min walk to the Bus Station. Reception staff are kind and helpful. Safe and tranquil even walking back from Bus Station to the hotel at 9-ish pm. Free carpark and breakfast 👍 Minor drawbacks：no fridge and telephone in the room. Hotel phones can be used in the lobby though.”
