“Visited Kill Devil Hills during Memorial Day weekend and had a relaxing stay at Sweet & Salty. Condo was well furnished, and more than adequate for our group of 4. There was a minor issue with the elevator not being able to call from the 2nd or 3rd floor but our host was very communicative and explained a work around. Thanks for a great trip!”

“The condo was cute and clean.. It was located in a good area. The parking was not convenient and didn’t always have adequate spaces. The outside stairs need to be replaced along with the majority of condos there, due to dry rot from the salt air. One of the steps came completely off but the owner was very quick to respond and it was fixed the same day. Overall it was a good experience. ”

“Our family stayed at the writers retreat over Easter Weekend. The place is beautiful and so convenient to the beach, restaurants and the shoreline. Can't recommend it enough. The comms with the landlords was excellent and they went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. Would gladly stay again if in the Nags Head area.”

“Everything was great with a couple of minor exceptions. Elevator quit working for over a day. The elevator needs to be updated. The dishwasher was full when we arrived. Did not know if dishes were clean or dirty. Should have been emptied before we arrived. We were not able to use dishwasher because we are not going to deal with someone elses leftover dishes. The remote for the TV was worn out. could not use the TV because half of the buttons did not work anymore. I bought new batteries but that……

“Beautiful view of the ocean. Blissfully quiet in the off-season. Plenty of parking. Just a little confusing to figure out which condo was ours at first because the numbers were only on the doors, not anywhere on the exterior of the building.”

“Loved our stay. The condo was clean and centrally located for both the northern and southern portions of OBX. If you want to get the most out of your vacation, this is a great starting point . The complex is small, peaceful, and quiet. Steps to the beach. Host was great, providing us with so much useful information of the area. We look forward to staying here again.”

“Grateful for a place that is dog friendly. Right on beach. We watched the sun rise & dolphins play each day. Beach was clean and so much fun. We have a special needs dog so having the beach so close & an elevator to our unit gave us the opprotunity to have a family vacation. We cooked in house and had everything we needed. We will be booking again.”

“Beautiful condo on the best slice of ocean beach! Perfect sunrise, peaceful and the accommodations were perfect! Conveniently near activity but a haven from the busyness of the world from the back deck! The master bath shower was definitely a highlight!! We picked a week that was chilly and had a good storm but it didn’t ruin the relaxation of this condo! Indoors or out … so refreshing! Only downside was the pool was not open yet but being so chilly, unless it were heated, wouldn’t have……
