“David’s place is amazing and the communication was great! We will stay here again! First class!”

“Property was easy to get to, the strung lights in the yard was a nice touch as we arrived after dark. Nice setting, with big back porch and chairs on a nicely mowed large yard. The house was nice, ample beds for my husband, my 2 sons & myself, comfortable, amazing antiques. IF I had more time, it would have been a beautiful float to the park stated in the info. Walked to the boat dock, beautiful, calm river. Location perfect for our wedding & reception venues. Much more convenient than……

“We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it!”

“The whole thing was adorable and very clean! Loved that it was just far enough out of town to have peace and quiet but still very convenient to town! Bummed there was no WiFi since cell service was poor. Had issues getting front door unlocked. Would have been helpful to know it was finicky up front. Overall great stay though! ”

“My whole family spent a long weekend at this great property. It was too short of a time. We played pickle ball, swam, played board games and had a great time. The property was very clean and had plenty of space for the 12 of us to spread out. We would definitely recommend this property for a large group.”

“We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. The Farmhouse has a full kitchen but……

“Really enjoyed are stay! great place and close to Smithville. Did a lot of driving and spent the night at the riverwalk, this place was great to come back too. If you want a real quite place look no further.”

“Great house, the owners, Micheal/Leah had everything prepared when we arrived. We had 12 guys there for a golf tournament near by, Micheal even set up a small driving range for us off the back porch, a mini “Top Golf”. Beautiful property, especially at night with all the lights around the property.”
