“Lovely weekend getaway in a beautiful, clean cozy cabin”

“We had a great time during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable for our family. Communication with the host was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with a nice little market about 5 minutes away. Proximity to Windham mountain was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend!”

“The location and layout of the home was ideal for our family, but we were underwhelmed by the condition of the home. Many of the ceiling lights were not working, and the main living area was very dark. Plan to eat most meals out and you won’t be disappointed as the kitchen was not well stocked to prepare food (no spatulas or measuring cups) the ice maker made ice but did not dispense it and the filter for water was due to be replaced. The washing machine did not work and despite addressing it……

“My family had a wonderful stay at this property. We were looking for a place near Plattekill Mountain that was dog friendly and this house was great! Very clean, well-equipped with kitchenware, and the host was very responsive. My 2 boys loved the loft bedroom! ”

“Magical stay!”

“We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. I contacted the property owner and told her our concerns. Her response was “Things and furnitures are as in the pictures posted……

“We enjoyed our time here! Was very relaxing and secluded but within driving distance to attractions and groceries etc. Would recommend! ”

“Wonderfully remote and beautiful property with fabulous views. Ponds, fields, woods, mountains and wildlife! Clean, comfortable cabin- well equipped. Host was easy to communicate directly with. Several nice restaurant choices in town.Absolute pleasure- will return. An”

“Spend a few nights without any issues. Very cozy and fun. Easy check in/out very friendly and responsive host. The place is very beautiful with comfortable bedding and fun entertainment. Highly recommend, this cabin has everything you need!”

“Veronicas house was perfect in all aspects! Great communication all throughout our visit and the kids loved feeding the chickens every morning. House was spotless well appointed and had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed sledding behind the barn on the small hill. Will definitely be back. ”
