“We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was thoughtfully stocked. There was plenty of space for 4 adults. The gameroom was a definite bonus. The hosts were very responsive. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This was our second stay in this amazing house overlooking a picturesque setting of the Berkshire mountains and meadow filled with birdsong and deer grazing there We would wake up every morning to a mist layering the mountain range and warming sunlight and at night we could watch the sunset coloring the horizon. From every room in the house, there are wall to wall windows to capture the incredible landscape. This home is extremely comfortable and has everything one needs to prepare meals and……

“We rented this place for the first time for a family gathering. The setting was very private and “country-ish”. For the most part everything listed was present at the place and there were enough sleeping options for our crew. Overall - the owners were nice and fairly responsive but there was a level of disappointment to the care of the property and more importantly the preparedness for our arrival. They said the pool and hot tub were cleaned and ready but the pool was still dirty and the hot tub……

“We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided. ”

“Ninka and her husband were so thorough with all of the pre trip and check out process. The cottage is breathtaking. Clean with beautiful decor and furniture. The front sitting area and back deck are so relaxing. We had four adults and and my nine month old grandchild. We also had family that live in Connecticut visit. We will definitely be visiting again. “The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Best hot tub ever, well-equipped kitchen (everything we needed and more), comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. I appreciated the labeling of light switches, as well. The owner responded to my questions quickly and graciously accommodated a few requests. I would rebook this house in a heartbeat the next time in the area. ”

“Loved the location, yard, outside areas and the charm of the old home. The property was clean but appeared that no one had been there is a long time so did not have that pristine "just cleaned" feel. Some pests (bugs) and the dishwasher was not emptied (still full from previous tenants). The most concerning issue was the unlevel flooring, the steepest, narrowest stairs I have ever seen and is a property that could be very dangerous for young and old. Taking luggage up the stairs was almost……

“Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away. The heated indoor swimming pool was the biggest hit. We hope to have the opportunity to……

“This house is fantastic in every way. The space is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Kerry was super communicative, extremely professional and so nice.. The house was filled with unexpected amenities and the views are spectacular. This was the perfect spot for the 6 of us. ”

“Considering that area does not have convenient hotels, this location was perfect for the event we attended. It was nice of them to vacate their home so we could stay - though we wish that would have been communicated. There is no extra room with twin beds - at least not functional. The property is nice. Whomever took the pictures did a great job. It worked for us for the short time we were in the area.”

“This place has stunning views of the lake with a large dock to park your boat at. The house is on one of the most desirable place on candlewood lake, We had a great time. Place was clean and the owners are good people. Caught a large catfish off the dock. Spent the days on the boat around the lake and at nearby islands. Only heads up is there are stairs throughout the property so be able to climb stairs. Thanks and we will be back ”
