“We had a nice stay at this charming historic cottage while my daughter and her friend competed at the annual Millbrook Horse Trials over 4 days. The kitchen had everything needed plus they included some extras in the fridge such as filtered water, ice, coffee, etc. We loved to see the chickens running around too. We hope to return next year and book this same place once we have the dates!”

“Through the neighborhood at the end of the quiet road tucked behind other houses is this lovely, tidy, efficiently laid out, well equipped home. The placement on the lot is perfect making it easy to forget you're only a few minutes from in-town Poughkepsie. This was also one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Wish we'd found it when our son started college in Poughkeepsie rather than for graduation!”

“I had pleasure of staying at Alysia and Russel’s beautiful and luxurious converted space above the garage surrounded by nature. The space was immaculate and had everything I needed for my three day stay. I came for a weekend workshop at the very nearby Omega Institute. It was very peaceful surrounded by trees and great views and light filled the place. My favorite thing was the deck. The bed was also very comfortable. Great food (try Tallow in Millerton, The Black Rabbit in Lakeville, and The White Heart Inn in Salisbury). A perfect home base, cozy with all the amenities, and thank goodness for AC as the beginning of the week was unreasonably warm. Everything was wonderfully, just as described. Thank you!”

Really appreciated the comfy beds, the fire stove and the holiday decorations. Had hoped to make a fire in the fire ring out back... but it was just TOO COLD. Lots of things to do, restaurants & shops in the area -- next time in better weather!”

“What a piece of heaven this fairy tale cottage is! A girls getaway and so needed. My daughter, her friend, and her friend’s mom had a most delightful trip. Girls are 13 and 14 years old and just the right spot for teens and their moms. We kayaked as a group, I went solo one time, and me and the other mom went at sunset. Incredible views of the lake, mountain, and the sweet Lily pads. All the neighbors were friendly. The cottage’s architecture was quite impressive. Beautiful wood throughout and……

“This house was so incredible. Not only was it in a quiet nice neighborhood the inside was incredible too. Pool table as well as a pool it was perfect for my stay to have fun and enjoy our time. They were very communicative and welcoming to their house. Everything was comfortable and clean. Can’t say any bad things about this place. Definitely going to book again. I already miss it. ”

“This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.”
